Why T.E.X.t.?

Take Control of Your Fitness Journey

Your health, fitness, and ability to fully engage in your life are your responsibility.  The good news is that the opportunity exists for anyone willing to reach out and take it.

If you're here, you're either considering—or ready to take—the first step toward a better life. Seeking a knowledgeable professional is a wise choice. However, hiring a competent trainer isn’t the end of your responsibility—it’s just the beginning. Success demands your full commitment. A good trainer will provide expertise and motivation, but the real work starts and ends with you.

Fitness is one of the few areas in life where results are directly related to the effort invested. Clear goals, honest communication, and dedication to self are essential. Your trainer can guide you, but only you can take the steps.  Show up.  Take charge.  OWN YOUR JOURNEY!

Why Team Elite X-Training

Our longevity within the industry tells you everything you need to know.  Since 2006, we've been committed to helping you break through self-imposed limitations to discover the possibilities that exist within your life. By challenging barriers, we expose ourselves to opportunities long thought reserved for others.

Health and fitness offer freedom—freedom to live life fully, without excuses, hesitation, or fear.  Procrastination hijacks those freedoms, dampens momentum, and weakens our belief in what’s possible. Life’s ups and downs are inevitable, but success lies in our determination and drive to persevere. The question is, if not now, when?  Because if you won’t invest in yourself, who will?

  • Tjader is unique in that he takes your goals and well-being to heart.  To him, you're a team working toward the same goal and, for a 50+ woman who was intimidated by gyms and trainers, having him as a friend and ally was essential.  You won't be disappointed.

  • I would like to give a huge Thank You to Tjader (TJ). Without TJ, I would not have been able to hit my Goal.  I tried several times without success, and it was not until I started working with him that I saw real results and gained the ability to manage them on my own.  The picture above is me at my starting was weight of 280 pounds and, a year later, my scale showed 209 pounds. Without his guidance, encouragement, and training, I'm certain, this would have not been possible.  I feel so much better and I'm back to doing things I used to do. My son is much happier with my choice to get healthy.  Tjader Harris is extremely knowledgeable and will show you the correct way to get healthy and stay that way.

  • Finally!  A trainer that listened and built a program tailored to my needs instead of making me adhere to his, one size fits all, cookie cutter, programs!  I was pretty skeptical at first, but the guy is the real deal.  I won’t say I couldn’t have done it without him, but I will say, I didn’t do it until I met him!

  • He studied kinesiology so he understands athletic movement. He trains you to perform, not just to look and feel great!  My group ride pulls are so much longer and stronger, I’m thinking about racing again!  Thank you, Tjader!

  • One thing that sets them apart is that they’re kind and patient, but they’ll also let you know when you’re skirting your responsibility to yourself.  Forcing me to check myself, kinda reinforced that it was on me and that they weren’t going to accept MY MOODS just to get paid.  I guess I needed that cuz it worked!  See, Tjader, I’m acknowledging your GREATNESS! LOL

  • I’ll tell you what, I’ve been lifting and training for 20+ years and for this 60 year old, DRUG FREE, PLANT EATING, guy to walk into MY GYM, and more or less crush my soul, was eye opening!  I may not become a vegan but, if he can do for me, half of what he’s done for himself, I’m in!

  • Tjader is great!  Normally, when someone would say “diet” I’d burst into tears 😊 but he walked me through everything and explained what we were going to do, how we were going to do it, and what to expect along the way.  It wasn’t overnight but, it wasn’t the confusing nightmare I’d built it up to be either!  Now, I make my own food substitutions and I’m stronger and leaner than I’ve ever been! And I’m 57!

  • I think I was probably the first person to actually accept the $10,000 Challenge!  I’d been watching him train in the gym and was absolutely certain he had to be taking SOMETHING!  When he told me about the website, I thought I’d make an easy 10k but, as it turns out, losing that $1000.00 was the best money I’ve ever spent!  It opened my eyes to what’s possible and erased my dependency on what I WAS TAKING!  Thank you, TJ, let’s get a in leg workout soon!

  • I really enjoyed my online training sessions with Tjader. He is funny, knowledgeable, patient & encouraging.  Tjader was motivating on my low energy days and pushed me to give my full effort, but also helped me listen to my body to know when to allow for more rest or less intensity.  Probably the biggest thing is that my nutrition is on point now because he relayed it in such a way that it was not only easy to understand, IT MADE SENSE!  His quick-witted humor & caring personality made him a pleasure to train with!

  • I started training with Tjader a few months into the pandemic.  Before lockdown, I’d go to the gym a few days a week, doing exercises I either learned online or from friends.  What I discovered, after working with Tjader, was how unbalanced my prior workouts were.  I'd do the same exercises over and over, often neglecting certain muscle groups; compound that with my rock climbing and the imbalance was causing me to get injured more frequently (and look unbalanced).  When I started training with Tjader, that totally changed. Tjader is like an encyclopedia of exercises, and he tailors each week’s training to ensure my workouts are balanced.  The result is that with the same number (or fewer) workouts, my body has become far more balanced, and I’ve actually gained muscle mass.  We train entirely over video – using my laptop and adjusting the angle/position for each exercise to ensure I’m doing the exercises properly. He’s like a hawk for good form so I have far fewer tweaks and strains than before, even with the climbing!  I only have a minimal set of home-gym equipment (training cables and bands, some dumbells, a cheap bench from Amazon, etc.) but he’s managed to adapt a creative set of workouts with just these items for nearly two years now. He also gives me stretches, and corrects my form over video, which has helped my flexibility. The result is that I’m in better overall shape now, than at any other time in my life – I’m just turned 51 – and having fun while doing it.  That’s the last thing, Tjader is one of the funniest/kindest people I’ve met, so every workout is fun (even if it’s grueling).
